Yeah, I saw that right after I posted...sigh.

I wish I could be in two places at once but then I be beside my self and then I might even be exposing my kibbles and bits at that point but the jury is still out on that one. Hell, I don't even care.

Lurk away my friend, you are still among friends, some animals, some not.

Crank up 10-31-80, it is well worth it. It will make you smile at least.

it is not the end of the world by any stretch - but , yeah, kinda bummed. spent the last day and a half pretty much in lurk mode - pretty much only answering emails from the LMA friends who have sent them. self indulgent i know, but i needed some space. i've appreciated all the kind thoughts from everyone though and have tried to let everyone know that as best i could. all of have really been wonderful and i mean that. i was very touched by the outpouring of support by this entire group. was very very cool and made yesterday a little easier on my soul.

Now HE's a TOPIC??? We've seen it all now. I'm soooo jealous. This...is an outrage!!!

How ARE you??? He's Dr. Dire lately. He's funny, buzzed and, tonight, a little sappy. I'll take some credit for that....

Mr. Wolf could burst forth at any time. Watch for hairy palms....

Huh...I guess he IS a topic, afterall....

9/18/87. That makes it GD relevant.

I need to start a list, but are you the Chico CA resident? I was looking for a site for Dancinbears for tshirts and all I could remember was Woodstock something or other. I ggogled and saw these links for Woodstocks Pizza in Chico. Been there? Its funny, would never have caught my eye otherwise. On the same note, drank a six of your towns favorite the other night. Mmmm Sierra nevada.

Hey Now you Crazy Cats - Funny thread. Dire your mommy is right....they usually are.

Dancinbears - Monday at B-ball twisted left ankle. Last night twisted right ankle and received a knee to the thigh. So, I'm walkin' like Fred Sanford today. I still don't want to be a Topic. Too much pressure...

Jody - I'm in Chico. Been to Woodstock's. The Woodstock's in San Luis Obispo is better though.

Yeah, Sierra Nevada Beer, we love it here in Chico. Ken Grossman, the owner, has passed-up huge opportunities to be a Samuel Adams or Gordon Biersch, but he will not sacrifice the quality of the product or cheapen his ties w/ this community. Sierra Nevada sponsors just about every sports league, team and most major events held here in Chico. He could have ball-park and airport restaurants, but he has very high standards and won't do it just to make a buck. That's why you'll find Chicoans have a deep appreciation for the Beer and the man.

P.S. - Grossman holds concerts in his Big Room on Monday and Tuesdays because he does not want to compete on the weekends with the joints in town that sell his beer. How cool is that??

Thanks for the clarification. With those injuries it appears you might be jonesin a little for dancins'sympathy. Mind thread;does sympathy for Dire equate to Sympathy for the Devil-hit it Mick! Who is the Gordon of whom you reference- no doubt a beer mogul.

Hi Jody - Gordon Biersch is a brewery here out-west. They have reasturants in Palo Alto, SF, San Jose and others, I'm sure. But GB has also opened fast-food stands at PacBell Park(Sf Giants) and inside airports. The first GB's were quite nice. Hi-tone pub experience. But, as the company expanded, the focus on quality waned and we had more than one disappointing visit.

Six years in Chico now and never disappointed at Sierra Nevada. Top-notch everything at Chico prices...superb.
